It seems that some schools high tech equipment in their classrooms and other schools barely have enough computers for each classroom. I wonder why there is such a gap in the technology that students have access to. School funding has always been a topic of inequality. Schools in "nice" neighborhoods have more funding for the new technology and latest classroom gadgets. Schools in "poor" areas can't quite seem to funding for these things. We are perpetuating the educational gap that exists between areas of socioeconomic differences. We need to push for more equality amongst schools. Who is say that some children are more deserving than others? No child chose to become a part of the socioeconomic standing that they exist in. Why should we deny some students the chance to experience new technology and gain the edge to compete in a global world.
